Talked about some history around how the Parliament AO came about from growth to the name. Transitioned to “Judging” and how we/I tend to do this often in my day to day. Read one of my favorite quotes from the book The Shack. See below. Encouraged PAX to look not to judge and themselves above others, but to look to understand and see others as equals.
“Then it is you who determines good and evil. You become the judge. And to make things more confusing, that which you determine to be good will change over time and circumstance. And then beyond that and even worse, there are billions of you each determining what is good and what is evil. Had some great Parliament & the Funkadelics tunes rolling to kick us off, and then transitioned to some 60s rock. I really wanted The Count to feel young again, as our elder PAX member. I mean he was already disoriented from not following parking directions on slack. The first FNG at P-Funk was named Modify….coincidence? I think not.
